Crashes

That's true, they don't.

Panorama has a built—in crash recorder wizard (in the Developers submenu
of the Wizard menu) that can often provide more useful information to
us. Unfortunately, it also slows down the operation of Panorama by a
factor of 10 or so.

I don't think this has anything to do with the problem you are
reporting, but FYI we don't recommend opening Panorama files over a
network (except with Panorama Server, of course). Even the slightest
momentary glitch in the network while a Panorama file is open over the
network can cause problems when you next try to save the database (it
won't corrupt the data, but it may fail to save altogether and simply
display an error message). If your network is rock solid you can get
away with it, but I recommend avoiding this as a regular practice.
