Working with Panorama
Track Magic is based on Panorama, and all of the
fundamental database features in Track Magic are really
Panorama features (including sorting, searching, data
outlines, crosstabs, reports, etc.). The following pages
provide brief introductions to the Panorama features you
are most likely to use with Track Magic. To learn more
about any Panorama feature you can refer to Panorama’s
extensive PDF documentation. To access this documentation,
simply choose Help from the Panorama
menu, which opens Panorama’s Help and
Documentation wizard.

All of the available PDF titles are listed down the left
side of the wizard. To open a particular book simply double
click on it. If the selected PDF file is already on your
system it will open, otherwise Panorama will offer to
download it for you. At the time of this writing there are
eight different Panorama PDF books available, but you'll
probably find everything you need in Panorama
Essentials. (One thing you won't find there, however,
is how to embed Ruby programs in Panorama. To learn more
about that see Chapter 26 of the Panorama Handbook.)
