You may have many Rails applications on your system. Track Magic can help you find the one you need to work with at any particular time. Use the search box at the top of the window to filter the list of applications. As you type into this box only Rails applications containing the text you type will be displayed. (The matching text can be anywhere in the path of the Rails application.)
Scanning for Rails Applications
Track Magic uses Spotlight to scan your system looking for Rails applications. It normally does this every time you open the main Track Magic window. If you need to scan at some other time choose Scan for Rails Applications from the Track menu.
You may not want Track Magic to scan automatically every time it opens. To turn automatic scanning off, choose Preferences from the Track menu, then uncheck the Automatically Scan for Rails Applications option. (If automatic scanning is turned off, you'll need to run a scan manually if you create a Rails application outside of Track Magic.)
Note: Track Magic uses Apple’s Spotlight tool to search for Rails applications. If a Rails application is in a folder that is not searched by Spotlight then Track Magic will not see the application. You can use the Spotlight panel in System Preferences to specify what folders are searched.
