The eulersnumber( function returns the value of Euler’s number.
Parameters
No parameters.
Description
This function returns the value of Euler’s number (expressed in the maximum precision allowed for a floating point number in Panorama).
eulersnumber() ☞ 2.718282
You can also simply type in Euler’s number using the Mac’s Character Viewer. To open the Character viewer choose Edit>Emoji & Symbols, then click on the Command icon in the upper right. Then look in the Math Symbols section.

See Apple Support Note HT201586 for more information about using the Character Viewer panel.
Note: In the past, this function was called eulersconstant(. However, that is mathematicallly incorrect - Euler’s constant is a different number than Euler’s number. Since Panorama users may be relying on the eulersconstant( function to return Euler’s number, we have left the eulersconstant( function as-is, though it is no longer documented (except for this note). If you need to perform a calculation with Euler’s constant instead of Euler’s number, you’ll need to manually type the number 0.577215664901532 into your formula. There is no function that returns Euler’s constant.
