The kcframes( function returns an integer based on a feet and frames count for 35mm film.
Parameters
This function has one parameter:
feetplusframes – text value in the format feet+frames
Description
Returns an integer based on a feet and frames count for 35mm film. (Submitted by Chris Watts.)

Note: This function is equivalent to:
val(feetplusframes[-7,-4])*16+val(feetplusframes[-2,-1])
