The crtovtab( function converts carrige returns (ASCII 0x0D) into vertical tabs (ASCII 0x0B).

Parameters

This function has one parameter:

text – the original text containing zero or more carriage returns.

Description

This function converts carrige returns (ASCII 0x0D) into vertical tabs (ASCII 0x0B). Some programs (including Panorama) will convert vertical tabs into carriage returns when importing, allowing individual data cells to contain carriage returns.
